So my mom has never been a healthy eater/excersiser, and neither are my siblings. My dad on the other hand definitely is and he's extremely muscular making him, even over 40, a pretty good looking guy. I myself never thought much of it. As a teen and child my motabilism was always wicked great, I literally could eat all I wanted and not gain a pound. Now though, as I'm sure all of us women and girls are noticing, it doesn't stay that way. I'm a short girl
My thighs are starting to jiggle and my stomach has some very unwanted access fat I'm dying to get rid of. I've decided better eating and daily excersis will be my best hope. I just wanna note, one of the biggest turn offs to working out, other than the sweat, is that the results aren't over night, but I really do beg you guys, DO NOT LET THAT EFFECT YOU!!!! You can still feel great and look great very quickly if you work out the right way >.^
I just walked into my kitchen after a long hard workout in the gym and what did I see? Strawberry cookies, omg these are one of my biggest weaknesses. I actually pulled one out even and then I was like wait I just worked out. Turning over the bag of the cookies i read the lable, 120 cal. That might not seem like much but trust me for one cookie it definitely is! When reading lables make sure to also read the fat and sodium portions. Sodium (which is salt) makes a girl and or guy bloated giving that extra accessed fat a really unattractive boost.
Anyways ^^ I looked at that cookie and as badly as I wanted it, I shoved it back in the bag and left the kitchen. Here's the first thing I always tell myself, when im shopping or looking through the pantry, i try as hard as I can not to seek out the junk food. If you keep it out of your house, or even just out of eyes range, it can definitely help your cravings.
I didn't even know they were in there until I walked in! If I didnt see them I wouldnt be like "omg i want a cookie" lol
Sometimes I also try this: Make a goal for myself. My own personal goal is to delete the access fat around my midwaist. I know once I do that, it'd be so much easier for that flat tummy to show itself off. Now that you made that goal, remember and keep it. You can even make some mini goals to help yourself reach your main goal faster! Such as, no more fast food or no more stopping by the little debbies isle in your food market XD
Next time you pick up a nice looking sugery sweetening goody, try your hardest to remember that goal and how badly you want to look and feel when it's all over! ^^ I say this now, it's really hard to keep our willpower up and against junk foods like chips and cookies and cakes but to ditch the old dress size, wear the two piece bikini, or just simply loose a few pounds in front of the mirror, you gotta do it.
The very last thing I wanna say is this: Don't just loose weight for your partner (a.k.a. bf/gf) or friends or whatever, do it for yourself. You deserve to smile and feel sexy and hot in front of that mirror, and in general! We got this guys, i promise if you stick to it, it'll all pay off!
Love you guys! Love ~Rose
