Everyone has their own "special" way of toning down and relaxing or recharging themselves. One of my very favorite ways to "recharge" or to regain my composure is to complete a fun easy yoga work out! Many people have told me in the past that yoga was to difficult for them or that yoga requires a specific kind of body type or patience. Yes it does require patience but a specific body type is definitely not required!
The number one thing to remember when completing your yoga practice is that you will improve! Nothing is easy when first starting out. You probably won't look exactly like your instructor but with patience and practice you can grow and learn how to push towards your goals in flexibility, strength, and focus. For those of you who feel yoga is to easy, think again. The levels intensity are constantly rising!
For those of you unable to attend an actual class because of where you live or money availability there are plenty of sites online that can help you practice! There is yoga for weight loss, relaxation, back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, tightness in the muscles, and many many many more!
As much as I love going to an actual class it isn't always possible for me so one source I'm absolutely in love with is YouTube! There are plenty of yoga instructors for free on YouTube with varies lengths on their videos. These videos can be used with headphones or out of your speakers and mats are basically never "required", though having a mat would definitely be great!
