Okay so I put three different types of learning possibilities up top but here's the thing, in reality, when learning a launage you should do all three of these. From learning to reading to writing, even watching, you can be absorbing new words, new ways to use them, and of course new ways to enjoy the language you're learning.

One of the biggest problems with language learners is staying interested.

Even I myself sometimes find it really hard to actually sit down and work on my language, even though I have great motives and reasons to learn it. If you don't have a good enough motive to learning it, you definitely are not going to. There are so many different reasorces for people learning languages. Books to movies to podcasts to youtube videos, it's all extremely easy to look for if you know the right places to search ^^

I also want to put a little extension on this post and give you a few tips on how to stay interested for longer periods of time ^^ I know even for myself doing the same old activitiy every day can start to wear you out and turn into a chore more than a fun learning possibility. I sometimes find myself forcing myself to actually go to the site or pick up the book I've been using for such a long extent of my time. Here are some easy ways you can kinda try to keep yourself motivated and into the language.

#1.) Take a piece of paper or sticky note and write down as many good reasons that you have for why you want to learn that language. Maybe you want to go over sees or you have family in another country etc. Those are great reasons right of the bat ^^

#2.) Learn while doing your favorite things >.^ Interested in soccer? Why don't you google the countries teams etc, learn the scoring board and the rules all in that language! How about interests in scary movies or mystery books? It's definetly not hard to find some pdf's, movies and videos online! ^^ Not only are you interested but you're learning and expanding your vocabulary hugely! XD

#3.) I know some people get into a program and stick with it the entire time until it's finished. I can't do that sometimes, it just starts getting really old. Switch it up once in a while by adding a new program, book, website, whatever to help you learn. This way your learning is staying fresh and fun ^^

#4.) Last thing I can think of right of the bat is getting a study buddy. Finding someone who also knows or is learning the language can definitely help because they to can encourage you to continue to learn! You can even learn together! (Hence the name, study buddy!) (lol!)

So I hope you guys enjoyed this and I hope it helps next time you're trying to figure out some ways to stay motivated and keep learning ^^

(By the way! A really great interactive site for pretty much any language you could want from klingon to spanish to french to danish is duolingo.com ^^ I use it too! XD)

Love you guys, Love ~Rose
