Movie Review: Sinister

Recently my dad and I saw the ad for the movie Sinister 2 which if you ask me was pretty freaky ^^ We had to see the first one and considering we are such huge scary movie fans we couldn't believe we hadn't seen that movie yet. XD

This movie is about a man who is a writer. He hit total fame after writing his first true crime book and was living quite an easy life. After that, he couldn't really write anymore. He wrote two more books that were total busts and everyone knew it. He then moves himself and his family into a house, but not just any house, the house of a murder right in the back yard. Four people, hung and killed right on the tree branches of the back yard.

After stumbling over a box that obviously didn't belong there in the attic, strange things began to happen. His son had horrible night terros, but that was just the beginning. He found home videos in the box that "shouldn't belong." At the end of each of these videos, a family was killed and it was all on the tapes....

Late at night after locking his office, the tapes would find themselves in the living room playing. He was after a killer, but the killer wasn't human...the killer was from a much different world than ours.

This is all I'm saying ^^ It's a really awesome movie and I can't wait to see the second one XD Viewing this with younger children is definitely not a good idea. Hopefully you check out this scary little film and let me know what you think!!! Love you guys! ~Rose
