His Promise

"Then God said to Noah and his sons, "Now I am making my agreement with you and your people who will live after you, and with every living thing that is with you -the birds, the tame and the wild animals, and with everything that came out of the boat with you -with everyliving thing on earth. I make this agreement with you:I will never again destroy all living things by a flood. A flood will never again destroy the earth."

And God said, "This is the sign of the agreement between me and you and every living creature that is with you. I am putting my rainbow in the clouds as the sign of the agreement between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth and a rainbow appears in them, I will remember my agreement between me and you and every living thing. Floods will never again destroy all life on the earth. When the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and I will remember the agreement that continues forever between me and every living thing on the earth."

So God said to Noah, "The rainow is a sign of the agreement that I made with all living things on the earth."

What a hope-fulled future. Every day we're making choices that can effect our futures. Whether it's 5 seconds, 10 minutes, or 3 years. Here is my challenge. Draw or find an image of a rainbow and everyday this week when you find things that encourage your future write them down on the picture. I want to do this too. I'll even post mine here at the end of this week to show you :). Sometimes it's so hard to see positive things in our lives...sometimes we feel as if we're to broken to find anything good. I promise you though, if you open your eyes you'll see so much more in this world. Everytime you see a rainbow I hope you think on God's promise. On His promise to keep the world at bay and help us grow. ~Rose
